Victim Advocate Services include notification of an offender's release date, escape, or death; processing victim's requests; explaining victims' post-conviction rights; providing information regarding the status of an offender; assistance in serving an inmate with an Order of Protection or Injunction Against Harassment; information and community referrals; crisis intervention; advocacy for victims during incarceration/community supervision; assistance with restitution process; accompaniment to parole/commutation hearings; and assistance with concerns related to ADC inmates/offenders.
