Homeless School Transition Programs | Salt River Schools

Provides academic instruction for students in kindergarten through grade 12. Homeless Education Liaison provides assistance to school-age youth who do not have a permanent place of residence. Services include school enrollment, transportation to and from school, free breakfast and lunch programs, and other support services. Also provides information about additional resources in the community. Provides support services for students with disabilities. Offers parenting skills classes and early education programs.

Eligibility

Arizona students. Must bring child's original birth certificate and immunization records, parent/guardian's photo ID, and proof of address. Liaisons will assist students who are homeless to obtain documents after enrollment. Salt River Elementary School serves Native American students only. Salt River Higher Education serves SRPMIC-enrolled students only.
