Description

Protects the public through a variety of programs which promote healthy environmental conditions and reduce risks associated with communicable diseases. Responds to questions and complaints about insect and rodent control and property maintenance. Conducts food safety inspections of all commercial facilities that sell food to the public. Issues permits and inspects the installation and repair of septic systems. Also conducts inspections of public swimming pools, hotels, and mobile home parks.
