Domestic Violence Hotlines | SHIELD Domestic Violence Victim/Witness Assistance Program
Provides assistance and services to victims of domestic violence and abuse, specializing in victims who speak languages other than English and Latin American Spanish. Assists with relocation and placement in to transitional or emergency housing. Also provides assistance with court documents, obtaining lost records and identification documents, and completing applications for benefits. Child and elder care may be available during court cases.

Application process
Call, email, text, visit website, write. Communication and transportation will be determined on a case-by-case basis. All requests by phone will be answered within 24 hours in the order received. Emails are read daily and will be responded to within 48 hours. Emergency and intervention calls have priority.
Eligibility
Victims of domestic violence/domestic abuse, their dependent minor children, and elderly family members, who are low income, are lawful Arizona residents, and those individuals who are from diverse cultures, who have a language and or cultural differences, that otherwise prevent them from accessing mainstream service providers in Arizona. Any eligible client must be lawfully present in Arizona with no outstanding warrants/work release.
