The Engineering Division provides technical planning and administrative support to the Department. Engineering assists the Street Division with design of drainage facilities and streets. Coordinates capital improvement projects such as new street construction, overlays, and chip seal. Performs plan reviews and inspection of subdivisions and private development improvements. The Street Division is performs routine maintenance of the streets, sidewalks and alleys includes grading, pothole patching, striping, sweeping, removal of debris, weed control, sign installation, and pavement maintenance
