Administers referral program to emergency assistance for people in need throughout Southern Arizona, according to parish boundaries.
Provides rent assistance to people who are experiencing a one-time crisis that makes eviction imminent. Stable means of income is preferred, as this financial assistance is intended to eliminate the crisis so that the client can resume responsibility. Also provides assistance with SW Gas bills including past payment, deposits, late charges, and reconnection fees. Provides deposits for electric, gas, water, and home telephone services. Includes case coordination and advocacy for people who need housing, shelter, employment, and help in obtaining benefits.
Provides financial assistance for veteran and Gold Star families with children living in their home that have lost a loved one or are suffering with injuries from combat including Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and moral injuries.
