Responsible for securing the borders at the Ports of Entry, the places where people may lawfully enter the United States. Screens all people, vehicles, and goods into and out of the country. Enforces immigration law, including narcotics interdiction, and protects the nation's food supply and agriculture industry from pests and diseases. Ports of Entry are located in Douglas, Lukeville, Mesa (Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport), Naco, Nogales, Phoenix (Sky Harbor Airport), San Luis, Sasabe, Scottsdale (Airport), and Tucson (Tucson International Airport).

Stations are located in Ajo/Why, Bisbee/Naco, Casa Grande, Douglas, Nogales, Sonoita, Three Points/Robles Junction, Tucson, and Willcox.
