Rescues, rehabilitates, and releases injured, sick, and orphaned wild animals. Includes owls, hawks, eagles, javelinas, coyotes, large and small mammals, and reptiles.

Provides classes, coaching, and consultation to parents including those referred by the court. Services include life skills for parents and their families; information on stopping parent alienation; help understanding decision-making authority, parenting time, caregiving authority, and joint legal custody; preparation for court appearances; guidance on building healthy self-esteem in children; and information about effective communication. Distance learning includes educational programs about navigating court procedures, custody issues, stress management and reduction, parenting plans, and dealing with behavior issues with toddlers and teens.

Provides information on heart health, and cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment. Sponsors annual fundraising events such as Go Red For Women Luncheon, Heart Ball, and Heart Walk.

Provides confidential temporary shelter for victims of domestic violence and a 24-hour crisis line and crisis intervention for victims of domestic violence, sex trafficking, sexual assault, dating abuse and stalking. Services include individual advocacy, care/case management, general crime victim assistance, subject specific public awareness/education, adult sexual assault prevention, spouse/intimate partner abuse prevention and life skills education.

Provides school drug prevention/life skills courses, Naloxone and Naloxone training, parent education classes, trauma training, diversion classes, community education programs for youth and adults on current drug trends, consequences of using alcohol, marijuana, and prescription and illegal drugs, support groups and book clubs.

Researches criminal justice issues for political candidates, attorneys, agencies, and other interested groups. Serves as a watchdog agency over state prisons and county jails.
