Administers programs for domestic violence, sexual violence and human trafficking

Provides financial assistance for goods and services to help enhance self-esteem of foster children. Funds may be used for sports equipment, musical instruments and lessons, bicycles, recreation costs, school trips, graduation and prom expenses, scholarships for college or vocational school, and other items that directly benefit foster children. Assistance is not available for general household items, foster facility improvements, or other matters for which the state already provides funding.

Provides animal shelter and adoption, reduced cost spay/neuter clinics, reduced cost cat/dog vaccinations, and free pet food for those in need. Accepts animal surrenders.

Provides case management, advocacy, support groups, domestic violence shelter, human trafficking shelter, sexual assault shelter and services to families and adults who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, or human trafficking. Maximum length of stay is 120 days and accommodates pets.

Also provides education and support through home visits and support groups. Meets virtually and in-person monthly in Phoenix, Prescott, and Tucson. Loans durable medical equipment, provides respite care, and provides transportation to ALSA-related events including clinic visits.

Educates and engages people to support and empower the LGBTQ2+ community and allies. Holds events including Pride Festival, Pride Parade, and Rainbows Festival. Presents annual Pride Awards Reception honoring organizations, businesses, and individuals. Awards scholarships to college students in the local community who are an LGBTQ2+ member or ally. Awards grants to organizations that are LGBTQ2+ focused.

Sponsors gift cards and laundry supplies for people in need to wash their clothes. Each gift card can be redeemed for one wash and one dry load at Northgate Laundromat. Clients may receive three gift cards per month.

Sponsors free events for people in need to wash their clothes.

Provides recreational programs, sport programs, recreation center, special events, programs and festivals. Maintains city parks and playgrounds. Offers reservations for ramadas and park venues.

Administers programs for biological families who have open cases with the Arizona Department of Child Safety and aged out foster youth.
