Offers prevention resources for substance use disorders and suicide with a concentration on African American youth.
Provides counseling for youth and adults in individual, family, couple, and group settings. Includes topics such as domestic violence, substance abuse, lifestyle management, self-esteem, coping skills, depression, grief, and spiritual distress. Offers suicide prevention program. Also provides drug and alcohol assessments, DUI classes, outpatient education and support groups for adults with substance use problems.
Provides free mental health first aid workshops for the community, with separate classes for adults and adults who work with youth. Also provides lunch and learn presentations to help increase knowledge about mental health issues and to help eliminate the stigma around them.
Coalition of mental health leaders, educators, healthcare professionals, survivors, and advocates committed to suicide prevention by providing resources, education, and community support for those affected by suicide.
