Responsible for building and maintaining the street network, lights and signals, bridges, storm drains, public buildings, golf courses, parks and pathways, transit system including buses and bus stops, water distribution and wastewater collection. Also responsible for trash and recycling collection including special materials recycling events and Christmas tree recycling.

Maintains streets, traffic signs and signals, speed humps, bike paths, and sidewalks in the city. Accepts reports of obstructions in roadways, flooding in streets, and damaged crosswalks due to storms. Also responsible for drainage structures, public art pieces, and street lights and signs.

Provides residential and business electric utility services in the Phoenix metro area. Accepts and acts on reports of power emergency situations including outages, electric shock, fallen power lines, arcing, explosion, or damage to SRP facilities. Heat related moratorium in effect any day there is an excessive heat warning and from July 1 - September 8- check the SRP website for more information.

Responsible for water and sewer services, trash collection, and street building and maintenance.

Maintains City streets including snow removal.
