Facility accepts hazardous residential waste, including pesticides/herbicides, motor oil and antifreeze, auto and rechargeable batteries, paint, fluorescent bulbs (containing mercury), and household cleansers. Also accepts anything labeled Toxic, Acid, Flammable, Caustic, Poison, Danger, or Warning. Hosts document shredding events several times each year.

Responsible for residential garbage collection including bulk trash collection and hazardous waste disposal, traffic signals, signs and traffic control permits, underground utility locating and construction inspection, street repair, street sweeping, and maintaining all city facilities and fleet.
