Offers free personal income tax form preparation assistance from volunteer tax counselors.

Provides various classes for adults on probation and the general public. Classes include adult basic education, GED preparation, ESL, career readiness, and life skills. Includes customized learning plans with in-person and computer-assisted classes.

Provides job training and placement for low income adults who are chronically unemployed or underemployed. Also provides classes in English as a Second Language, adult basic education, and GED preparation; and case management.

Provides nutrition education and breastfeeding support services, supplemental nutritious foods and referrals to health and social services.

Provides emergency food to individuals and families living in select zip codes in the valley. When available, offers personal grooming items, and formula and diapers for children age 1 and younger. Also provides information about community resources.

Includes utility assistance to prevent shutoff and propane gas used for heating and limited mortgage assistance to prevent eviction or foreclosure. Offers car repair assistance for families with children (age 17 and younger) who are working. Does not exceed $300 for any repair; not available to people who are unemployed or childless. Provides assistance directly to applicants, and to agencies in the Emergency Services Network.

Performs eligibility screening and registration LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) and Lifeline alert. Provides referrals to additional services.

Administers HUD-subsidized rental properties throughout Arizona.

Administers employment training and assistance programs throughout Arizona. Provides employment assistance and training to adults, veterans, youth, and others with serious barriers to employment including dislocated workers. Services include occupational and vocational training, job search training, employment counseling, basic education programs, and job search assistance. Offers the use of computers with Internet access, fax machines, copiers, and telephones for job search purposes only. May also provide assistance with transportation, child care, counseling, minor medical services, clothing for work or training, and referrals to other agencies.

Provides food boxes for residents of Fort McDowell and Fountain Hills.

Services include wellness screenings, chronic disease management, family planning services, prenatal care, well women check-ups, oral health screenings, and school physicals.
