Provides people living with a spinal cord injury, mobility impairmenttyyyyyyyyyty, or paralysis with information and resources. Offers a peer mentoring program and a Military & Veterans Program.

Administers programs for veterans. Provides information and assistance in applying for all veterans benefits. Includes information about health care, hospitalization, and outpatient services; mental health and substance abuse treatment; education and training benefits such as the GI Bill; VA home loans; pensions; and death benefits such as burial and cemetery plot allowance, flags, and headstones. Offers referrals to other federal and state agencies that provide services for veterans and their dependents.

Early childhood professionals offer individualized information and support on childhood development to families and caregivers with young children and to early childhood professionals. Topics include child development, sleep, parenting, feeding/nutrition, speech, challenging behaviors, colic/excessive crying, safety, getting ready for school, early literacy, support to child care/preschools and community resources all over Arizona. Also offers pregnancy/postpartum resources addressing maternal mental health. Helpline specialists offer virtual or home visit support to families with children under the age of one. Presentations for families and caregivers can be given virtually or in person.

Provides assistance to local disaster (home/apartment fires, floods, etc.) victims who have immediate, disaster-related needs 24-hours a day allocated on a case-by-case basis. Assistance can include shelter, food, clothing, reunifying families after a disaster, mental health counseling and health services for disaster victims. Also provides information on disaster preparedness.

Delivers health-related services and information via telecommunications technologies.

Advocates for people with developmental, physical, cognitive, or psychiatric disabilities in the areas of education, health care, mental health care, housing, accessibility, abuse, neglect, employment, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) related issues. Legal concerns must arise from the disability. Provides information, technical assistance, and training on legal rights and represent individuals in negotiations, administrative proceedings, and in court. Brings impact litigation on systemic issues.

Maintains a network of Safe Place locations for youth in crisis due to abuse, bullying, family issues, depression, suicidal thoughts, and other problems. Any business, school, youth center, library, or bus that displays the yellow and black, diamond-shaped Project Safe Place logo is a designated location where youth can go and ask for help. The on-site staff will then contact program staff, who immediately dispatch a team to meet the youth and provide crisis intervention and other services.

Provides services for victims of abuse and sexual assault. Services include advocacy, basic needs, case management, crisis response, educational information, forensic exams and interviews, information about and referrals to community resources, legal advocacy, and safety planning.

This program administers services to active duty, retired service members, veterans, and their families. It provides VA referral services, case management, job search assistance, food, water, clothing, hygiene supplies, energy bill assistance, and rental assistance (limited).

Provides an AHCCCS Health Plan for central Arizona. Partners with a system of providers that deliver behavioral health and medical care to people who are signed up for AHCCCS/Medicaid. Offers non-emergency medical transportation to and from covered medical and behavioral health appointments. This service is available for members who are unable to provide or pay for their own transportation. Website offers a database of providers searchable by location and service. Accepts and attempts to resolve complaints.

Provides housing navigation services for youth who are at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness. Offers connection to community housing, shelters, and agencies who offer mental health services and SMI evaluations. Provides homeless court navigation and application assistance for POND Supportive Housing when available.

Provides drop-in center and support services for single adults who are homeless. Services include respite from the weather, restrooms, water, and Post Office services. Also includes assistance to apply for birth certificates, state ID, and DES benefits; and computer classes; employment preparation and job search assistance; pastoral counseling; mental health and substance abuse treatment; peer support services; and 12-step meetings. Offers referrals to community partners including shelter, medical, and dental care. Provides housing assessments for adults who are homeless. Based on the assessment, people who are the most in need are placed on the community-wide priority list. Local agencies use the list to get clients. Includes screening for additional services. Site for coordinated entry into housing. Offers Aid to Stranded Travelers for Nonresidents experiencing homelessness who find themselves stranded and in crisis situations in the Phoenix area. Issues replacement state-issued IDs.

Provides specialized health care for veterans who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+). Services include mental health services with psychosocial assessments for hormone therapy and gender confirming surgeries. Creative arts therapy, hormone therapy, and gender-affirming prosthetics. Testing, counseling, and care for HIV and sexually transmitted infections, including post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for Veterans at risk for HIV, and other prevention, screening, wellness, and testing services.

Provides community-based day program for adults who need supportive care because of physical, emotional, or mental limitations. Offers therapeutic, social, and health-related services. Includes meals and transportation. Available on an hourly respite basis and for the full day.
