Offers the use of computers with Internet access, fax machines, copiers, and telephones for job search purposes only. May also provide assistance with transportation, child care, counseling, minor medical services, clothing for work or training, and referrals to other agencies.

Administers programs for people with visual impairments.

Responsible for planning, developing, constructing, and maintaining water, wastewater, and solid waste public infrastructure for the city. Responds to after hours emergencies including water main leaks.

Provides support services for families and seniors on low income. Services include emergency rent and utility payment assistance including sewer user fees. Financial assistance applicants are required to attend six hours of workforce training and budgeting classes. Also provides assistance to sign up for benefits, including Nutrition Assistance (food stamps/SNAP); backpacks for school children; diapers; and referrals to additional services.
