The crisis may be domestic violence, homelessness, incarceration, mental or physical illness, or natural disaster; when ended, the owner will be reunited with their companion animal. Includes cats, dogs, birds, ferrets, fish, pocket pets, rabbits, reptiles, snakes, tarantulas, etc. Animals must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots. Dogs must be licensed. Does not allow owner visits, but encourages phone calls.

Provides housing and credit counseling to prepare qualified homebuyers for mortgage approval, counseling and assistance for mortgage loan modification, and refinance assistance. HUD-certified housing counseling agency.

Enforces animal control laws such as barking, biting, aggressive animals, sanitation, and leash laws within the town limits. Picks up stray dogs. Sells dog licenses. Does not operate a shelter.

Provides Section 8 rent subsidies to families, older adults, and people with disabilities on low income. Housing assistance payments are made to owners of privately-owned apartments on behalf of the tenant. Conventional Housing Program provides housing in county-owned housing units for families, older adults, and people with disabilities on low-income. Residents are eligible to participate in the Family Self-Sufficiency Program.

Administers free laundry cleaning services to individuals in need on Wednesdays at their locations in Phoenix and Mesa.

Provides group support for people facing possible organ transplants and recipients that have been through the process. Support is sometimes offered by past organ or tissue recipients. Provides food boxes to people in need. Clients may receive one box a month. Also provides a job resource center and computer lab. Offers SNAP/AHCCCS registration and renewal.

Faith-based center provides services for women and teen girls age 13 and older. Provides onsite childcare for children ages 0-5 while mother is receiving services. Free, confidential services include food pantry, formula, baby food, clothing, diapers, showers, nutrition education, individual advocacy, information and referral, support groups, exercise groups, parenting skills, job readiness, adult literacy, citizenship test preparation and a variety of classes. Serves as a family support center.

Provides a Christian-based mental health support group for adults affected by mental illness and/or their family members. All faiths welcome.

Provides back packs and school supplies for TUSD students. Also provides hygiene items and clothing such as pants, shirts, diapers, underwear, belts, shoes, socks, dresses, and prom gowns.
