Applicants must fill out the ADA Paratransit Eligibility Certification form. The process may involve contact with professional references and/or an in-person assessment of functional travel skills. This may take up to three weeks, as the office will confirm that applicants are unable to use the fixed-route bus system (Sun Tran) because their disability prevents them from doing so.

Offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the fields of nursing, health care, and health innovation. Performs health research including clinical trials.

Provides emergency food boxes including pet food (with monthly food boxes) and baby food (with weekly food boxes) to people in need living within the services area. Offers bi-monthly Care Club where anyone can purchase meat and pantry boxes at reduced costs. Also provides information about and referrals to community resources including rent and utility assistance to people living within the agency's boundaries.

Provides nutrition education and breastfeeding support services, supplemental nutritious foods and referrals to health and social services.

Provides academic education for students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Homeless Education Liaison provides assistance to school-age youth who do not have a permanent place of residence. Administers community college programs and learning centers in La Paz and Yuma counties.

Provides low-interest, long-term loans for physical and economic damage caused by a disaster. Loans are made to homeowners, renters, businesses, and nonprofit organizations that are located in regions affected by a declared disaster, including civil unrest and natural disasters such as hurricanes, flooding, wildfires, etc.

Provides group and individual training in various life skills for people with disabilities. Includes using the bus, cooking and nutrition, pre-employment training, financial coaching, self-advocacy, and socialization.
